If you like the design of the current 13″ MacBook Pro M1, we have good news: the new MacBook Pro will, according to our sources, strongly resemble the 13″ MacBook Pro M1. A February report cites information that the new MacBook won’t get a design change from the current M1 version and won’t follow in the footsteps of the MacBook Pro (2021). That means there will be no notch, no new chassis and neither will the Touch Bar. We also expect the storage options to remain the same with 256GB as the base option.
The main novelty of this 2022 MacBook Pro model would be the introduction of a new M1 chip that is even more powerful than the current generation.
This device will not be equipped with a mini-LED screen like those present on current models.
According to the Taiwanese media DigiTimes, the Apple brand’s MacBook Pro 2022 will not use ProMotion technology. In other words, the screen will not be 120 Hz. This new model should also abandon the Touch Bar, this OLED touch bar above the keyboard, thus aligning itself with the high-end models.
