Last night not far from San Francisco, the technical vice-president of the most valuable firm on the planet, Craig Federighi, lifted the veil on iOS 14 and its version for tablets. All the new features are to be discovered at this address for the edition dedicated to smartphones, which will benefit from them from the fall. However, the general public will be able to install it a few weeks earlier: from next month.
The grind for iPad, meanwhile, incorporates a majority of similar improvements, particularly on the application side, but also brings changes to Apple Pencil support. Its rollout schedule is the same, with developers able to download the beta from last night.
What’s new ?
The good news is that all iPhones that were compatible with iOS 13 are also eligible for the update to iOS 14. Which means that even theiPhone 6s, released in 2015, can enjoy it. An option which should make it possible to raise the figures relating to the rate of adoption of software headed, yet already very satisfactory.
